Interviewer Prompt Page
Step-by-step guide for using the interviewer prompt configuration page.
URL: /admin/interviewer-prompt (structured) or /admin/adaptive-prompt (adaptive)
Page Layout
- Left side: editable fields organized in sections
- Right side: live preview of the assembled prompt
- Sticky header: title + version badge + preview toggle + trends
- Fixed save bar: bottom bar with version history dropdown + save button
How to Edit
Text Fields
Click into any text area and edit directly. Token placeholders ({companyName}, {role}) appear as highlighted text. Click a token pill below the field to insert at your cursor position.
Number Fields
Use the +/- stepper buttons or type directly. Fields like "Max probes per question" have min/max constraints.
Add/Remove Lists
For hard rules and similar lists:
- Type new text in the input field
- Click "Add" (or press Enter)
- Click the X button on any item to remove it
- Items maintain their order
Live Preview
The preview panel on the right updates in real-time as you edit. It shows the complete prompt as the AI will receive it, with token placeholders replaced with example values.
On mobile: click the "Preview" button in the sticky header to open a full-screen preview modal.
Saving
- Click "Save Changes" in the fixed bottom bar
- Version save modal appears:
- Change type: Revision (major), Refinement (minor), Calibration (patch)
- Version name: descriptive label (required)
- Description: at least 20 characters (required)
- Click "Save" — version is created immediately
Version History
Click the version dropdown in the save bar to browse history. Select any version to preview it. If you want to rollback, save while previewing a previous version.
