The Question
Currently, rubrics are system-wide — all postings use the same interviewer and scorer rubrics. Dr. Rigos has decided that some fields should be overridable per posting.
What We Need
1. Which Fields Can Be Overridden?
Known candidates for posting-level overrides:
- Opening/closing scripts (per-employer branding)
- Some hard rules
- Tone adjustments
But which scorer fields, if any? Advance/hold thresholds per posting?
2. Admin vs Employer View
Dr. Rigos mentioned two posting screens:
- Admin sees more fields than employer
- Which fields should be admin-only?
- Which fields should employers see and edit?
3. Override Inheritance
When a system-wide rubric is updated:
- Should postings with overrides inherit the change for non-overridden fields?
- Should there be a "reset to system defaults" option per field?
- How is versioning affected when a posting has custom overrides?
